This historic event cannot be missed by Odessa residents, as well as numerous pilgrims. That's why people go en masse to the miraculous relics of St. Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon," said Father Paul.
According to him, buses with pilgrims from Zaporozhie, Kharkov and many other cities of Ukraine have arrived in Odessa. A line of the believers willing to venerate the shrine does not cease and constantly makes about 4 thousand people, stretching from the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral of Odessa to Deribasovskaya Street.
On the evening of February 6, the holy relics of St. Panteleimon the Healer will be brought to the Oncohematology Department of Odessa Regional Clinical Children's Hospital, where the little patients and their parents will be able to pray and venerate the great Christian shrine.
On the morning of February 7, the shrine will be delivered to the Central Military Clinical Hospital of Odessa, where soldiers wounded in the ATO and other servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are receiving treatment. The relics will be displayed for veneration and brought to the wards with seriously ill patients.
That very day the shrine will leave for Mount Athos.
