Trial of “swastika-wearing priest” starts on June 29

"On June 29, Zavodsk district court of Minsk begins a litigation on the criminal case on charges of Konstantin Burykin in committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 295, Part 3 of Article 295 of the Criminal Code (illegal actions in respect of weapons, ammunition)," writes the report of the assistant to the chairman of court of Zavodsk district of Minsk Tatyana Brysina.
The sanctions of the article provide for up to ten years of imprisonment.
As reported, an Orthodox priest from Belarus was detained by officers of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in November 2016.
According to some media, K. Burykin is known for being a member of the neo-Nazi organization "Russian National Unity", and also has Nazi tattoos on his body.
