In "Sobornaya" gallery women-volunteers of the capital present their programmes
Representatives of women's organizations, carrying out social, human rights, rehabilitation, educational activities, presented their programmes and plans. The work of the centres is aimed at helping elderly people, children, disabled people, refugees, as well as people who need psychological help.
Among the invited participants was a representative of the well-known Orthodox magazine "FOMA" in Ukraine. In his speech, he stressed the importance of traditional education of the younger generation and recalled the important role of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in this process.
After the meeting, the clergyman of the Cathedral, Priest Oleg Stepanov and the deputy director of the Spiritual and Educational Centre Alena Pavlenko showed the guests around the territory of the church complex for the guests. The architect and the priest shared knowledge about the architectural features of the cathedral under construction and functioning temples, answered their questions and thanked the women for their contribution to the social protection of the population.
