In Kolomyia believers get the temple seizure case investigated (VIDEO)

The UOC parishioners of the Annunciation temple in Kolomyia lodged a complaint against the law enforcers who never started a criminal investigation on the illegal seizure of the temple on June 4. The court ruled to satisfy the complaint and start an investigation. It is reported by NTK TV channel.

In the complaint filed by the UOC, believers of the UOC wrote that the case of the capture of the Annunciation Cathedral was not included in the single register of pre-trial investigations. The lawyer of the community, Mikhail Mizunsky drew the judge’s attention to the fact that the initiators of this seizure had not even been questioned by the police.

Near the walls of the court a protest action took place simultaneously, initiated by UGCC priest Mikhail Arsenich, who on June 4 took an active part in the raiding of the Annunciation Cathedral. This time, on behalf of the civil organization "Prisoners of Donbass", he organized an event "against the Moscow trial", as he put it himself.

The court considered all the circumstances of the case and decided to satisfy the complaint of the UOC parishioners and oblige the police to start a criminal investigation into the case of unlawful seizure of the Annunciation Cathedral.
