Turchinov said on Thanksgiving Day that "our God is victory"

During the celebration of Thanksgiving Day in Khreshchatyk, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov, who is also a pastor of one of the Protestant churches, declared that "our God is Victory".

During his speech, Turchinov compared the Reformation movement with a tsunami.

"500 years ago, with the Reformation great changes began," said the head of the National Security and Defense Council. "At first it was a small spring, then a powerful wave, and already a large-scale tsunami covered Europe and the whole world."

Alexander Turchinov identified God with truth and victory.

"Dear friends, our God is Love; Our God is Truth; Our God is Victory," emphasized Turchinov in his speech. "And when the Lord is with Ukraine, we will not be stopped by any army of the world."
