UOC publishes a video about bullying believers in the seized church of Kolomyia

Members of the Coordinating Council of the military chaplains of the UGCC in Kolomyia, who seized the Annunciation Church of the UOC, continue to persecute the faithful of the community, writes the press service of the Ivano-Frankivsk eparchy.

It is reported that on October 14, the priest of the UGCC Vladimir Kasian from St. Josaphat’s Church of Kolomyia attacked the believers of the UOC.

The almost 60-year-old clergyman behaved defiantly towards parishioners who came to pray in the temple. The priest was indignant that one of the women took a video of the incident.

"Tents, the flags of the Right Sector, a sound amplifier from which rock music is being sung – that's what can be seen now under the walls of the Orthodox church occupied by Greek Catholic fathers," they write in the eparchy and add that law enforcement agencies are ignoring the situation.

On October 17, the members of the Coordinating Council of the military chaplains of the UGCC in Kolomyia blocked the church of the UOC community, after which they cut the locks and held their services in the church, despite the fact that the rights of the UOC believers of the UOC were confirmed by the Ivano-Frankivsk District Administrative Court on October 4.
