Parubiy reports the unification council to be held by the end of the month

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrey Parubiy

This information was reported by the Chairman of the Parliament during the meeting of the conciliatory council of deputy factions, reports 24 Channel.

The speaker reminded of the “Agreement on cooperation and interaction between Ukraine and the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople” signed on November 3 and noted, “The signed agreement gives me confidence to hope that by the end of November an All-Ukrainian Unification Council will be held. I am sure that no dark forces will be able to stop this process,” he said.

As the UOJ reported, earlier “metropolitan” of the UOC KP Mikhail Zinkevich said that the delegation of the Patriarchate of Constantinople would arrive in Ukraine on December 13 to deliver the Tomos. He associated this date with the day of remembrance of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called, when the representatives of Phanar, in his opinion, would arrive at the first service in St. Andrew’s church.
