“Today the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is going through hard times. Now is the time when Orthodox Christians have an excellent opportunity to show their spiritual courage and true love for the Mother Church. One must be faithful to God not only in the light of the day. When darkness comes, we must also remain faithful children of the Church of Christ,” said Vladyka Vladimir.

The meeting resulted in the unanimous decision of 658 parishioners to preserve the religious community of the monastery subordinate to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, headed by its Primate, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy.
