Religious community of Krasnostav village reaffirmed its loyalty to the UOC
On March 3, 2019, the Orthodox community of Krasnostav village overwhelmingly confirmed their loyalty to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, led by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy. Alexy Sharan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“By the grace of God today, in the village of Krasnostav, Vladimir-Volynsky district, the religious community unanimously confirmed its affiliation to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the leadership of His Beatitude Onufriy, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine,” he writes and publishes the community’s voting video.
Of the parishioners present at the meeting, 65 people voted "for" and 1 – "against" remaining in the fold of the canonical Church.
As the UOJ reported, all clergy and religious communities of the Kharkov Diocese had previously reaffirmed their loyalty to the canonical UOC. Also, believers throughout Ukraine testify to their loyalty to the canonical UOC.
