On June 14, 2019, the Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Anthony of Borispol and Brovary, held a meeting with the clergy, whose temples had been illegally seized by splinters. This was reported on the official page of the Metropolitan on Facebook.

Earlier, Metropolitan Anthony commented on the situation with the illegal actions of officials regarding the UOC communities in Chernovtsy region. According to him, believers are compelled to appeal to the head of state for the protection of their rights, because they simply have no one to hope for – local authorities are directly involved in raider schemes against the UOC,

As the UOJ reported, recently the secretary of the Tamassos Diocese of the Cyprus Orthodox Church, Archimandrite Nectarios (Bakopoulos), visited the parishes of Rovno, Volyn and Ternopol eparchies having been subject to church raiding. Communicating with believers who had lost their temples and have to pray in worship-accommodated premises, the Cypriot priest expressed his support and assured them that world Orthodoxy is looking for ways to resolve the Ukrainian church crisis.
