Zelensky: We spoke with Pat. Bartholomew about everything that worries all

In Istanbul, the meeting of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople took place, reports “Ukrinform”.

After negotiations and lunch, which Patriarch Bartholomew gave in honor of the visit of the President of Ukraine, the head of the Patriarchate of Constantinople led Zelensky to St. George’s Cathedral and then – to the cortege.

To the questions from journalists about what the parties spoke at the talks, the Ukrainian President replied: “About everything.”

“We spoke about everything that worries everyone. I am very glad that we have strong support here not only at the political level,” Zelensky said, leaving the patriarchate.

As reported earlier, on August 7-8, 2019, President Vladimir Zelensky is making a working visit to Turkey, during which he met with Patriarch of Bartholomew of Constantinople.
