Andrii Yurash, director of the Department for Religions and Nationalities of the Ministry of Culture, believes that those who do not support the position of Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk do not love Ukraine. He said this on his Facebook page.

The head of the Department, who is a defendant in a criminal case on abuse of office, commented on the situation with Honcharuk, who filed a petition for his resignation on January 17, 2019.

"I follow attempts to discredit the Prime Minister and I am surprised at the people who are trying to do this: I cannot but ask a question why they do not love Ukraine so much?

I support the struggle and standing of the Prime Minister for truth and dignity.”

We recall that Andrii Yurash, who is now the chief official in charge of the state’s relations with religious organizations, is now actively applying for the post of head of the State Service for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience.

As reported by the UOJ, the December salary of the director of the Department for Religions and Nationalities of the Ministry of Culture Andrei Yurash amounted to 145,700 hryvnias, as evidenced by the official’s declaration of December 28, 2019. Despite this, he participates in a repeated competition for the post of head of the State Service for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience.
