On 22 November 2022, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is conducting "counterintelligence measures" against the UOC in the Rivne Region, reports glavcom.ua.

Law enforcers came to the Koretskyy Monastery and the Convent of the Volyn icon of the Mother of God in the village of Sernyki in the Zarichne district.

They also searched the premises of the Sarny-Polissia Eparchy.

The report said that all the "actions" were carried out as part of the SBU's systemic work to counteract explosive activities of the Russian special services in Ukraine.

As earlier reported, the SBU started searches in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
