Archpriest Mikhail Pitnitsky, cleric of the Severodonetsk eparchy, commented on the search conducted by the SBU in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. A video recording of his conversation with journalists was published by human rights activist Viktoriya Kokhanovska on her Facebook page.
“Let them look at our Church, at our Lavra, and make sure that we do not have anything they are looking for. We are all pure, loyal and open. Undoubtedly, there are people who do not like us (UOC – Ed.), and I really want everyone to make sure that we are loyal to Ukraine, we are for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for victory and for the liberation of the country from the aggressor," Father Mikhail said.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the SBU had started searches in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
