Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine announced a suspicion to the monk, in whose presence the "Russian world" was glorified. This was reported by the press service of the department.

The SBU noted that during the pre-trial investigation, the fact of the illegal actions of the hieromonk was established, which was confirmed by "relevant expert studies."

“These persons are suspected of committing crimes under Part 2 of Art. 28 and part 1 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants, committed by a group of persons)," the report says.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by SBU investigators under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

Recall that immediately after a video with a song from the Lavra was published on the Internet, acting head of the SBU Vasyl Maliuk said it would receive a proper response from the special services.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra commented on the situation with the performance of songs about the Russian Federation and added that Hieromonk Zachariah was suspended from worship.
