On March 28, 2020, the Kirovohrad Eparchy of the UOC held a charity social event “Help Your Neighbour Stay Home” to help senior people during the coronavirus, reports the eparchy’s press service.

As part of the action, the clergy deliver hygiene products and supplies to elderly people who are vulnerable to coronavirus.

The clergy of the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary handed pensioners basic necessities in order to protect them from going outside.

Food packages were formed from the donations of the parishioners of the cathedral, and funds for everyday needs were purchased at the expense of philanthropists.

The eparchy invites everyone to participate in the action. To participate, please call 068 323 81 35, Protd. Roman Melnik.

As reported earlier, the Primate of the UOC blessed all eparchies to participate in the fight against the pandemic.
