OCU raiders seize UOC temple in the village of Kniahynyn

On December 24, 2022, OCU raiders seized the Exaltation Church in the village of Kniahynyn, Rivne region, reports the press service of the Rivne Eparchy.

The raid took place on the morning of December 24, 2022. According to eyewitnesses, many people from neighbouring communities came to the church. They unhinderedly tore off the locks and entered the church as if for a worship service.

"No legal documents certifying the right of ownership of the religious building have been issued to the supporters of the OCU, as only 7 days have passed since the so-called meeting on transfer. It is impossible to produce ownership of the temple during this period," the message said.
