On January 12, 2023, supporters of the OCU seized the temple in honor of the Archangel Michael and all the Bodiless Heavenly Powers in the village of Bilohorodka, Kyiv region. The UOJ was informed about this by the parishioners of the Archangel Michael Church.
“They illegally re-registered documents for the local OCU ‘priest’. From today, according to the documents, this is not our temple. But we organized round-the-clock duty,” the parishioners say.
As stated in the official notice that was sent to the address of the parish, as of January 12, “the details of the company RO St. Michael’s parish of the Kyiv Eparchy of the UOC of Bilohorodka village, Bucha district, Kyiv region” and its head have changed.
The parishioners note that they were not ready for such a turn of events and ask for prayers for Archpriest Anatoly, Priest Vyacheslav and all residents of Bilohorodka, faithful to the UOC.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that OCU raiders seized the temple of the UOC in the village of Kniahynyn.
