The rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary, Archbishop of Bilohorodka Silvester, stated that only enemies of the Ukrainian state win in the religious confrontation inside Ukraine. He said this in an interview with Greek journalists published on the Romfea.gr YouTube channel.

"I am confident that in the situation that is developing in the religious field in Ukraine, only enemies of Ukraine win. We know the gospel phrase: 'A house divided against itself cannot stand.' And it is obvious that some forces want to divide Ukraine from within as much as possible," the bishop said.

As reported, Archbishop Silvester stated that the Ukrainian authorities will not be able to destroy the UOC, despite all their efforts.
