UOC churches to pray for peace on Independence Day of Ukraine

On August 24, the Independence Day of Ukraine, all churches and monasteries of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will pray for the Ukrainian people and for peace in the country, reports the UOC Information and Education Department.
On August 21, a circular order the corresponding blessing of the Primate of the UOC, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, was sent to all eparchies.
On the day of the 29th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, a liturgy in 12 languages will be performed at the Cathedral of the UOC in Zaporizhzhia.
