On August 26, 2020, the cross procession of the UOC, which on August 19 left the Holy Trinity Brailov Monastery, reached the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra. The video of the arrival and meeting of the pilgrims at the gates of the holy monastery was published by "1Kozak".
“Thank you for this victory over your weaknesses and infirmities!” the cross walkers were welcomed in the Lavra. “May God grant that your prayers reach the throne of God and return to your hearts and the hearts of those for whom you have prayed all this way, with such grace that will pacify all souls, give reason and love, so that we all live in the love of Christ. It is very important at such a time as now that people show such determination and courage and testify before the whole world that there are still Orthodox Christians in the world who want to be saved in the true faith."
On August 19, 2020, the traditional cross processions of the UOC believers began from Brailov and Kamyanets-Podilsky to Pochaiv. The participants annually cover more than 200 kilometers to take part in the patronal feast of the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra, which is celebrated in the monastery on 28 August.
As reported, a many-thousand cross procession from Kamyanets-Podilsky arrived at the Pochaiv Lavra on the eve of August 25.
