Media: Phanar delegation is going to Kyiv

A delegation of the Patriarchate of Constantinople intends to visit Kyiv on July 28-29, 2023, the Greek edition Romfea reports.

According to the publication, the delegation will be headed by Metropolitan Emmanuel (Adamakis) of Chalcedon. It will also include Metropolitan Hilarion of Winnipeg, Metropolitan Job of Pisidia, and Priest Andrew Krochak.

Romfea also writes that Phanariot hierarchs will travel to Ukraine at the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelensky. Moreover, he personally asked Metropolitan Emmanuel to lead the delegation from the Phanar.

Also, the publication claims that Zelensky invited Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople to visit Ukraine on July 28-29.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to the protodeacon of the UOC and former MP Vadim Novinsky, the Phanar is ready to accept the Lavra into its jurisdiction.
