The spokesperson for the Rivne Eparchy of the UOC, Archpriest Viktor Zemlianyi said in an address published on the YouTube channel “Rivne Church” that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from year to year walks the way of the Lord, co-experiencing Christ's preaching, Golgotha, death and Resurrection.

He noted that in the UOC, there are believers of different views on life, who work in various spheres – from government offices to the simplest labour professions.

According to the priest, it is because of this that many forces would like to compete with the UOC.

"The Church is not a tool in someone's hands. <...> Our predecessors who were before us, the teachers of the Church, experienced this and left us a good example. And reading the lives of the saints, confessors, we take an example from them. We will not be spared as well. But we will have the Resurrection, the Church's victory, and all evil will be defeated," he said.
