On the morning of 6 October 2023, a group of unknown men in military uniform cordoned off the Koretsk Convent of the UOC and blocked access to the shrine, according to UOC believers near the shrine.

According to them, no one is allowed in or out of the convent, their documents are being checked.

"Those who try to take photos have their photos deleted from their phones," the source said.

As reported, people in military uniforms blocked the convent and two cathedrals of the UOC in Chernihiv.
