Khmelnytsky bishop performs requiem liturgy for victims of missile attack

On 9 January 2024, the ruling bishop of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Archbishop Victor served a requiem liturgy for the residents of Khmelnytskyi, victims of a Russian missile strike, who died on 8 January, reports the eparchy’s press service.
The service was held at the St Nicholas Cathedral of the UOC in the regional centre. The bishop was served by clerics of the eparchy.
"The ruling bishop of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy, the clergy and believers express their sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this tragedy, the message reads. “May the Almighty God rest the souls of the innocently killed in the homes of the righteous!".
As reported, Archbishop Victor expressed condolences to the families and friends of the casualties killed in the missile strikes on 8 January.
