The Holy Dormition community of the UOC in the village of Hryniava, Verkhovyna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, from which the activists of the OCU took away a complex of two churches, held a religious procession on March 21, 2021, on the Day of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, reports the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy.

The faithful of the UOC celebrated the Divine Liturgy in a room adapted for a church where in December 2020 a throne of all the Saint of the Kyiv Caves was consecrated. The festive Liturgy was served by the rector and dean of the Verkhovyna Deanery, Archpriest Mikhail Dutchak. After the service, the parishioners with the priest held a prayerful procession.

We recall that on December 8, 2019, two dozen people, who introduced themselves as ATO fighters, seized the Holy Dormition Church in Hryniava, and a month later, on January 5, 2020, representatives of the OCU took away the temple of all the Saints of the Kyiv Caves, which is part of the same temple complex.

As reported, a year after the seizure of two churches of the UOC in Hryniava, a new throne was consecrated.
