The Chancellor of the UOC, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich) of Boryspil and Brovary, said on his Facebook page that the Church hopes that the voice of ordinary believers will be heard by the authorities.
“All the fullness of the canonical Church hopes that the voice of the people will be heard. After all, serving the people just means ensuring the observance of the Constitution, protecting the rights of ordinary people, as well as respecting their position and appeals,” the bishop wrote.
Recall that on April 1, 2020, the press conference "Address of the UOC believers to the authorities: discriminatory laws and oppression" was held, then the believers of the most affected dioceses held a prayer service on Vladimir Hill, after which the parishioners' petitions were delivered to the Office of the President.
