A video of the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene in the occupied Avdiivka appeared online. The video was published by the resource "Strana". The footage shows that the temple suffered from shelling, but there is no critical damage.

The walls are scattered with shrapnel, the gilding of the main dome has been damaged, and fragments of the walls are knocked out by shells in certain places. The two-story church building next to the temple suffered more. The interior rooms are burnt, and the windows are shattered.

Residential houses around the temple are partially or fully destroyed.

The Church of Mary Magdalene was built in 2007. It was consecrated by Kyiv Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan).

As earlier reported, the video of the UOC church in Novomykhailivka affected by shelling was shown on the Web.
