The “episcopate” of the OCU treats its head Sergei (Epifaniy) Dumenko “not positively”, as they know all his shortcomings, said Filaret Denisenko, head of the liquidated UOC-KP, on the air of the Ukraine 24 channel.

According to Filaret, only thanks to his desire and support did Dumenko become the head of the OCU. “If I had not supported him, he would not have become a ‘primate’, because the ‘episcopate’ does not have a positive attitude towards him, they know the shortcomings of each of us,” said the head of the UOC-KP. “Which ones? I’d rather not speak about it".

He said that he wanted to contact Dumenko for a conversation at least by telephone, but the latter completely avoids any contacts. Filaret believes that both the head, and the "episcopate", and the "priests" of the OCU should be grateful to him, because without training at the academy, opened by him, they would not have been able to receive their titles. “All of them should be grateful to me for raising them and giving them the opportunity to become ‘bishops’, ‘priests’ and ‘primate’ like Epifaniy,” said the head of the UOC-KP. But since I left the OCU, we haven’t had any meetings and he does not want to talk to me even on the phone. I wanted to explain the situation to him, but he doesn't want to see or hear me. It’s a pity."

As the UOJ reported, the OCU is fighting with Filaret for parishes in the United States.
