Zelensky congratulates Western-rite Christians on Easter

On March 31, 2024, Easter is celebrated by Roman Catholics, Armenians, Protestants, and Eastern Catholics. President Volodymyr Zelensky took to his social media to congratulate Ukrainians and Christians who are celebrating the Resurrection of Christ today.

"May all prayers for protection from evil be heard today. May faith unite all kind hearts and strengthen those who defend their homes. And may true peace come closer for all of Ukraine and all nations affected by war," he wrote.
