Iryna Herashchenko from "European Solidarity" stated that Bill 8371, which effectively leads to the prohibition of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, may be voted on today, May 21, 2024.
"We've squeezed it. Just now, at the conciliation meeting, it was agreed that the law banning Moscow priests would be brought to the hall," she wrote in her Telegram channel.
As the UOJ reported, deputies blocked the Verkhovna Rada and demanded to put the law on banning the UOC for voting.
