Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople met in Turkey with the "hierarch" of the OCU Mikhail Zinkevich, the resource ΦΩΣ ΦΑΝΑΡΙΟΥ reported on June 8, 2021.

The meeting took place on the Turkish island of Gökçeada (Imbros) – the homeland of the head of Phanar, which he periodically visits.

The reception of the representative of the OCU was attended by the hierarch of the Patriarchate of Constantinople and also a native of Imbros, Metropolitan Kirill of Imbros and Tenedos.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the abbots of the Pantokrator and Xenophontos monasteries invited the head of the OCU to Mount Athos.
