During the "Ukraine.30" All-Ukrainian Forum, President Vladimir Zelensky commented on the prayer standing of the UOC believers near the Verkhovna Rada, confusing it with the rally of the “OPZZh”, which took place after the standing and had nothing to do with the prayer service of the UOC.

“Look what is under the Verkhovna Rada today. Well, I'm just really sorry. There are old women and children there, have you seen? In yellow "OPZZh" caps. Something in the church is wrong again. And so, by chance, everyone became interested in this issue, that by chance thousands of old women came in yellow "OPZZh" caps. Well, what does it look like?” said Zelensky.

As reported, on June 15, UOC believers held the prayer standing near the Verkhovna Rada and handed over two bills aimed at protecting the rights of UOC believers.

The organizers of the prayer action from the NGO “Miriane” told the UOJ that more than 20,000 believers came to the Verkhovna Rada and the Office of the President of Ukraine to submit an appeal in defence of their rights and the Church.

As reported, Archbishop Nikolai said that the participants in the prayer standing near the Verkhovna Rada demand that the UOC comply with the Constitution.
