The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, His Beatitude Metropolitan Rostislav, congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry on the Day of Heavenly Patron Saint Onuphrius the Great and wished the Primate of the UOC health and God's help in serving for the good of the Church, reports vzcz.church.ua.

“During the tonsure, you were given the name of the holy ascetic, whose labors and deeds became a yardstick for your monastic and archpastoral deeds. Strengthened by him, you carry out your ministry of the Primate with genuine monastic patience, diligence and humility. On this joyful day, I wish your Beatitude fortitude, health and the blessed help of God in your labors for the glory of His name. May the All-Merciful Lord attend you and the Ukrainian flock entrusted to you with His blessings and generosities through the prayers of our Venerable Father Onuphrius the Great,” said His Beatitude Rostislav.

As the UOJ previously reported, His Beatitude told why it is easier for those speaking the truth to communicate with the Lord.
