Roman Lozinsky, a member of the "Holos" faction, has called for an immediate ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in a comment to 24 Channel. The MP referred to the Church as a "network of the FSB, Russian propaganda, and agents with weapon stockpiles".

"Our country needs to rid itself of all things Russian from within. Right now, the key victory is on the battlefield, but the worst thing would be if all our victories and losses are in vain. We need to grit our teeth and make decisions that directly affect our future. One of them is the cleansing of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) as FSB agents," Lozinsky said.

He claimed that Parliament has been unable to ban the UOC due to the "mono-majority" and deputies from "banned" parties.

"There is a draft law in parliament that would allow us to cleanse local councils of traitors, but for the fourth year, it has been sabotaged by the mono-majority. The situation is likewise regarding the ban on the ROC MP," the MP stated.

As reported by UOJ, a criminal case has been opened against the head of 'Holos' for inciting religious hatred.
