Meeting to be held in Yaremche to "terminate the activities" of UOC parish

In the town of Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk region, the town council invites to public hearings to ‘terminate the activities’ of the religious community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the town. Such an announcement appeared on 29 October on the organization's official Facebook page.

Residents are invited to “public hearings to terminate the activities of the Holy Great Martyr Pantaleimon religious community (UOC MP)” on 11 November.

The meeting is planned to be held right in the town council building.

As the UOJ reported, the head of the Nadvirna city community boasted about driving the UOC underground.
