On November 1, 2024, a film screening took place in the Transfiguration Cathedral of Chernihiv, which previously belonged to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reports Suspilne.Chernihiv. The event was organized by the National Architectural and Historical Reserve "Ancient Chernihiv".

At the event, viewers were shown the first episode of the documentary series “The Principality of Chernihiv. 1000 Years.” A screen was set up in front of the Royal Doors, and the audience sat on chairs in the cathedral hall.

As reported by the UOJ, on December 25, 2023, the Ancient Chernihiv Reserve, which expelled the UOC community from the Transfiguration Cathedral in October, handed it over to the OCU.
