Supporters of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), who previously seized the Archangel Michael Cathedral of the Cherkasy Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), held the first Sunday school lesson, reports the local publication 18000.
About 15 children attended the lesson. Organizers announced that future classes will include wilderness survival training, conducted by representatives of the Plast organization, as well as lectures on mine safety provided by members of voluntary territorial defense groups.
"The children had the opportunity to get to know each other, talk about their hobbies and interests, and share what they want to learn in the upcoming lessons," the statement reads.
As previously reported by the UOJ, a film screening was held in the UOC-seized cathedral in Chernihiv.
