A monk of the UOC monastery in Kyiv has been mobilized by the Territorial Recritment Center in Kyiv. This was reported on December 14 by the brethren of the Archangel Michael Zverynets Monastery on their Facebook page.

“We ask for prayers for the health of our deacon and choir director – Father Volodymyr. He was mobilized today,” the monastery wrote.

According to Archbishop Iona of Obukhiv, at the very beginning of the Russian invasion, the clergyman “engaged in extensive volunteer work in the combat zone.”

As the UOJ previously reported, TRC officials detained the abbot of a UOC church in the village of Povcha, Rivne region.
