In Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 3, the premises that once housed the Church of Saint Xenia of St. Petersburg of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) have been converted into a café, reports Dozor_kozak1.
The church operated on the hospital grounds for 22 years, providing patients with the opportunity to participate in worship services and sacraments.
According to reports, the church was closed during the night of February 10, 2022. The hospital administration decided to shut it down and remove the church furnishings. Later, the space was repurposed into a café, replacing the facility previously used for the religious needs of UOC-believing patients.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a former UOC cathedral in Chernihiv was used to host a film screening.
