After the service at the National Cathedral in Washington, attended by the President, Vice President, and their families, Donald Trump shared his impressions with journalists, reports CNN.
When asked by a reporter what he thought of the service, Trump responded that "it wasn't too exciting."
“I didn’t think it was a good service, no. They can do much better,” Trump added.
To recall, on January 21, Washington Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, representing the Episcopal Anglican Church, used her sermon to call on Trump to have mercy upon children identifying as homosexual and transgender.
“There are gay, lesbian, transgender children in Democratic, Republican, independent families – some who fear for their lives,” she said.
