On January 31, 2025, during a meeting between Epifaniy Dumenko and the head of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR), Kyrylo Budanov, the parties discussed an "icon", which depicts them surrounded by famous Ukrainians from different historical periods. The press service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) published the image of the "icon".

At the center of the composition is Epifaniy Dumenko. Above him stands an Archangel with a sword, and even higher – the Virgin Mary with an omophorion.

To the left are people in UPA uniforms, a figure resembling Hetman Mazepa, and, presumably, Saint Prince Volodymyr.

To the right are Budanov, radical figure Korchynskyi, Euromaidan activist Nigoyan (who was killed during the protests), other Maidan activists, as well as soldiers in camouflage, one of whom is holding a rifle.

The publication does not explicitly state anything about the "icon", but judging by the way Dumenko and Budanov are examining it, it may be a gift from one to the other.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Dumenko and Budanov discussed the political situation in the country.
