In the Czech city of Brno, the guards hired by the raider bishop Isaiah (Slaninka) beat the believers of the church of St. Wenceslas of the Czechs, according to the website hlaspravoslavi.com.
On the evening of December 3, 2021, the parishioners of the church of St. Wenceslas in Brno, led by Archpriest Joseph Faisak, gathered on the territory of the temple to perform the Vespers on the eve of the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin.
However, the guards hired by Slaninka drove the parishioners out of the territory of the temple.
Eyewitnesses report that the supporters of Bishop Isaiah treated the 66-year-old priest Joseph and his mother with particular rudeness. In turn, the priest Raphael Moravsky, appointed by Slaninka, said that the community of the church of St. Wenceslas would have no choice but to "bow down to Isaiah."
On the day of the Feast of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos, the faithful again gathered near their church. Priest Joseph Faisak read an official document signed by Archbishop Michael of Prague, a member of the Holy Synod of the OCCLS, which stated that Archpriest Joseph Faisak was authorized to perform divine services in the Orthodox church of St. Wenceslas in Brno.
In response, the supporters of Bishop Isaiah used physical force against the representatives of the Orthodox community and beat the altar boy. The situation calmed down only with the arrival of the police.
Despite admonitions, the believers refused to pray with the priest appointed by Bishop Isaiah, as they consider the actions of the hierarch to be non-canonical and against the Church.
In August of this year, Bishop Isaiah forcibly and without the knowledge of the believers entered the temple, replaced the locks and appropriated the centenary antimension signed by Bishop Dositheus (Vasic).
As the UOJ managed to find out from its sources in Brno, the situation around the parish of St. Wenceslas of the Czechs escalated after priest Joseph Faisak denounced Bishop Isaiah (Slaninka) as the one who concelebrated with Ukrainian schismatics.
In response, the hierarch dismissed the priest from the post of parish rector, seized the temple and appointed another priest there. All these actions are committed by the vicar bishop Isaiah under the guise of the blessing of the ruling 95-year-old Bishop Simeon, who, however, spoke out in support of Priest Joseph in personal conversations with the active members of the parish.
At the moment, none of the believers attends the services of the priest Raphael, appointed by Bishop Isaiah, and the temple remains completely empty.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Bishop Isaiah was trying to seize the parish in Brno and illegally use the property of the Prague Diocese of the OCCLS. Because of his actions, the church of St. Martyr Wenceslas was shut down, and the believers are forced to hold services outdoors. The ROC noted that the bishop, who previously concelebrated with Dumenko, acts in Brno like the OCU in Ukraine.
At the same time, the OCCLS Synod, which took place on October 7, did not assess the illegal actions of Bishop Isaiah.
