A parishioner from the UOC’s St. Nicholas Church stated that he recognized some participants at the assembly near the cathedral’s fence in Chernivtsi, where unknown individuals – representing three UOC communities – raised their hands in favor of their transition to the OCU.
The parishioner’s video commentary was published by Pershyi Kozatskyi.
"I saw many familiar faces there, many people who actually attend the OCU church, the Greek Catholic church, but I have never seen them in any of our churches. Neither at the Church of St. Nicholas, nor at the cathedral, nor at the Church of Sts Peter and Paul," the man said.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that at the assembly near the cathedral fence, members of Chernivtsi's "Eurosolidarity" – who refer to the UOC as "Moscow" and "enemy" – cast their votes.
