In Dubno, OCU "priests" take part in divine service of RCC and UGCC

On December 24, 2021, in Dubno, Rivne region, the “priests” of the OCU took part in the Christmas Mass in the Church of St. John of Nepomuk (RCC), which was headed by the rector of the church Grzegorz Ovazhany and the rector of the Church of the Ascension of the Lord (UGCC) Andrei Koval, as reported on the Facebook page of the Church of St. John of Nepomuk.

With the Roman Catholic and Greek Catholic priests in the altar of the church were the rector of St. Onuphry’s Church of the OCU in the village of Zlynets, Dubno district, Roman Voytseshchuk, and the abbot of the St. Barbara Monastery of the OCU in Dubno, Vladimir Paseka.

The service was also attended by the mayor of Dubno, Vasily Antoniuk, and the chairman of the Dubno regional council, Viktor Kovalev.

After the mass, the “priests” of the OCU addressed the audience with a sermon, and the choir of the Intercession Cathedral of the OCU sang carols.

As previously reported, Dumenko said that in Ukraine within 10 years they will start celebrating Christmas on December 25.
