Rescuers have dismantled a collapsed cross from the dome of the Church of All Saints above the Economic Gate of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).

"On March 8, 2025, at 13:05, the rescue service received a call requesting assistance on Lavrska Lane in the Pechersk district. Upon arrival, rescuers determined that a cross had partially collapsed on the dome of one of the churches," the statement reads.

According to the press service, to ensure safe dismantling, rescuers ascended to the cross using a lift, carefully cut the wire, and safely lowered it to the ground.

Published photos confirm that the incident occurred at the Church of All Saints above the Economic Gate in the Upper Lavra, which is currently under the administration of the National Reserve.

As the UOJ previously reported, the Ministry of Culture has established a commission to inspect the holy relics in Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
