Rivne hierarch: "We pray that the Lord will open the Lavra for us"

On the feast of the Synaxis of All Venerable Fathers of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Archbishop Pimen of Rivne stated in his sermon that prayer must be heard in churches, and that state authorities should focus on governmental matters rather than interfering in Church affairs.
"We pray and ask the Lord to grant us the light of truth. May the Lord open the Holy Lavra for us all, so that we may go there. God willing, may there be a monastery in the monastery and prayer in the monastery. God willing, may state institutions remain as state institutions. May the Lord help them to govern justly, as we prayed today, but let everything be in its rightful place," the archbishop said.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Ministry of Culture has formed a commission to inspect the holy relics in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
