On March 18, 2025, Russian Justice Minister Konstantin Chuychenko announced at an expanded meeting of the Ministry of Justice that Russia plans to develop its first official explanatory dictionary defining traditional values, TASS reports.

According to him, "the provisions of the dictionary will later be used in the development of new or the improvement of existing regulatory legal acts."

"It is necessary to create a legal framework that will shield our values from external destructive influences. To facilitate this work, the law must be aligned with moral guidelines," the minister stated.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Ukraine is preparing a media dictionary of undesirable vocabulary that could be offensive to believers and the LGBT community.
