Martha and Mary Convent of Cherkasy prepares hot meals for the needy
With the blessing of Metropolitan Theodosius of Cherkasy and Kaniv, the sisters of mercy of the Martha and Mary Convent of Cherkasy organized the preparation of dinners on the territory of the Archangel Michael Cathedral and feed everyone for free, reports the Information and News Department of the Cherkasy Eparchy.
About 500 people have already received hot meals. First of all, these are refugees, internally displaced persons and low-income residents of the city.
As the UOJ wrote, in the Kherson Eparchy, the priests of the UOC organized the distribution of hot food, groceries and children's things.
