In Kordyshev vandals spill pig's blood in front of UOC church door
On July 1, 2022, vandals vandalized the UOC church in the village of Kordyshev in the Ternopil region by spilling pig's blood in front of the temple doors as reported on the Facebook page “Shumshchyna Pravoslavna”.
It is said that in the morning, before the beginning of the service, the rector and parishioners saw spilt pig's blood at the entrance to the church. The police were called to the scene and recorded the incident.
"We hope the perpetrators will be brought to justice. According to their deeds you shall know them, the Holy Scripture testifies to us, these people obviously have dark, evil deeds, not God’s. Forgive them, Merciful Lord, for they do not understand what they are doing, being overshadowed by sin, anger and hatred," reads the statement.
As reported, a deputy assistant in Kolodne removed the lock from an illegally closed UOC temple.
